Verification should provide confidence that food safety controls are implemented, effective, and operating as intended. Yet in many organisations, verification has become a routine exercise focused on signatures, completed checklists, and records rather than meaningful evaluation.
This webinar will explore the purpose of verification and how it differs from monitoring and validation. Participants will examine how observations, record reviews, inspections, interviews, testing, trend analysis, internal audits, and other verification activities can be used to evaluate PRPs and the broader food safety management system.
The session will challenge organisations to reconsider whether their verification activities are genuinely detecting weaknesses and preventing failure, or whether they are simply confirming that records have been completed.
