This webinar introduces the first phase of updates under the new ISO 22002-100:2025 standard, focusing on requirements related to the construction, layout, and design of buildings, facilities, and workspaces; utilities; pest control; and waste management. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how these structural and environmental changes affect compliance, risk management, and the overall reliability of their food safety management systems.

We’ll also explore updated requirements linked to management of purchased materials, storage, warehousing, transportation, and prevention of contamination. Using practical examples, the session will show how to implement these revised prerequisite programs (PRPs) effectively while maintaining alignment with the FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 frameworks. Attendees will leave equipped to assess their current infrastructure and operations, identify gaps, and plan for compliant, sustainable upgrades under the 2025 revision.
